When Stay flags a failed payment, Tailored opens an iMessage thread with the
subscriber — no link in the first message, just a real question. When they reply,
we send a Stay AI Quick Action link with their subscription details already
populated, so updating a card takes one tap. No login, no portal hunting, no
support ticket.
The flow exits automatically on a successful payment or a cancellation, so
subscribers never get a message about a problem that's already resolved.
Setup takes about ten minutes: a scoped Stay API key and one Quick Action URL.
Tailored requests read-only access to subscriptions and manages only its own
webhooks — we never read order data and never modify or cancel a subscription.
